Job Description – Field Sales Executive (Retail Banking)

Job Title: Field Sales Executive – Retail Banking



Industry: Private Sector Banking



Location: Pan India



Employment Type: Full-time





Job Responsibilities:



1. Sales & Customer Acquisition:




  • Identify and approach potential customers for retail banking products.

  • Promote and sell banking products such as savings accounts, current accounts, credit cards, loans, and insurance.

  • Conduct field visits, cold calls, and lead generation activities to increase customer base.

  • Explain product benefits, features, and eligibility criteria to customers.

  • Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.



2. Relationship Management & Customer Support:




  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.

  • Provide after-sales service, resolve queries, and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Educate customers on digital banking services (Net Banking, Mobile Banking, UPI, etc.)



3. Cross-Selling & Upselling:




  • Identify customer needs and recommend additional banking products such as personal loans, home loans, fixed deposits, and investment schemes.

  • Work towards increasing overall customer engagement and product penetration.



4. Market Research & Lead Generation:




  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends in the assigned region.

  • Generate leads through referrals, networking, and promotional campaigns.

  • Participate in local marketing activities and bank-sponsored events.



5. Compliance & Documentation:




  • Ensure proper KYC verification and documentation for all banking products.

  • Adhere to RBI guidelines and bank policies while onboarding new customers.

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions.





Eligibility Criteria:



✅ Qualification: Graduate (Commerce, Finance, Marketing, or any related field preferred)

✅ Experience: 0-5 years (Freshers with strong sales skills can apply)

✅ Age Limit: 21 – 35 years

✅ Skills Required:




  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Sales and target-oriented mindset

  • Basic knowledge of banking products and financial services

  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and digital banking tools

    ✅ Language: English & local language proficiency preferred

    ✅ Travel: Must be willing to travel locally for field sales and customer meetings.





Salary & Benefits:
